                                Rules

1. This is a team tournament ( 2 Person ), however an angler may fish alone.

2. Teams must fish out of a boat. Team members must remain in the boat at all times while fishing in the tournament. Anglers may get out of the boat for bathroom breaks and or loading boat to go to another spot. Anglers may not fish while out of the boat. All waters fished MUST be accessible by normal boat propulsion from the main lake to be legal fishing waters. If you are not sure if your means are considered normal propulsion, or if an area is legal to fish, ask a tournament official before the tournament.

3.The tournament official may cancel any tournament without prior notification. The tournament may be rescheduled or money will be refunded. It's the anglers responsibility to find out about cancellations and or rescheduling.

4. Official fishing times will be 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM for the spring tournaments, and 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM for the fall tournaments. The Classic will be 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. No line may be in the water before the official start time. All anglers must stop fishing by the official stop time. Boats may launch any time after midnight the day of the tournament.  Teams may put in at any public ramp.

5. Any person participating in any tournament may check the livewell of any other participent in the tournament prior to official start time. Refusal to allow your livewell to be checked will result in disqualification.

6. 7 fish may be weighed in. If a team has more than 7 fish in the weigh-in line they will be disqualified from the tournament. All fish must be alive in the weigh-in line unless verified by the tournament official. If a fish dies after being verified by an official, they may be weighed in. The weigh-in line will be open 30 minutes after the official stop time. The weigh-in line will be closed 60 minutes after the official stop time.

7. All fish must be legally caught with rod and line and hooked in the mouth.

8. Both live and artificial bait may be used.

9. All local, state, and federal laws must be obeyed. All teams are subject to and agree to a polygraph at the discretion of the tournament official. Teams also agree to abide by the polygraph operators decision and or the tournament official's decisions.

10. The tournament official reserves the right too, or have someone accompany or follow any team during the tournament.

11. The tournament official will have final say on all rules. All decisions by the tournament official are final.

12. Teams may use a substitute for 2 regular tournaments. If a substitute is used, put the team members name on the entry form followed by the substitutes name in the substitute spot ( ). Substitutes may be used for the Classic in case of illness or death with prior permission from the tournament official. Otherwise the Classic tournament must be fished with your partner you qualified with, or alone. No substitute may be used.

13. No angler may touch, tie onto, hold onto, step on, any private seawall, dock, metal lift or other private property while fishing the tournament. This has always been illegal trespassing , and complaints have been brought to the attention of the tournament officials. Land owners have been instructed to get the boat registration #, and take pictures. If this happens the participant will be disqualified.

14. All teams must be signed up by the end of business at Eastside Baits the day before the tournament. The Classic must be signed up for by the Monday prior to the tournament. The classic will be a 2 day tounament this year.
 
By entering any of the Grand Lake  Crappie Series tournament the participants agree to all the rules, and all decisions of the tournament official.

Any questions on the rules should be directed to the officials before entering any tournaments. Any grievances must be submitted in writing to the tournament official within 45 minutes after the official stop time.
